The Texana Groundwater Conservation District provides for the renewal of groundwater production permits under Rules 4.4 of the rules of the district. The rules specify that the authorized operator of a permit shall submit an application requesting the renewal of the permit no later than ninety days prior to the date of permit expiration.

Applications to renew a permit can be submitted by:

1. emailing a scanned hard-copy of the complete report to admin@texanagcd.org;
2. mailing a hard-copy of the complete report to TGCD, P.O. Box 1098, Edna, Texas 77957, or
3. delivering a hard-copy of the complete report to the District at 411 N. Wells St., Edna, Texas 77957.

Applicants may print and complete the following blank, paper-based form for this purpose:  

Water well owners are encouraged to retain a copy of permitting applications submitted to the District for their own records.
