On April 20, 2023, the Board of Directors adopted a management plan for the district that includes a goal related to addressing conservation, recharge enhancement, rainwater harvesting, precipitation enhancement, or brush control with an objective to promote conservation, rainwater harvesting, or brush control within Jackson County.

On August 31, 2023, the Board of Directors adopted the operating budget for fiscal year 2024 (October 1, 2023 - September 30, 2024) that included $9,500.00 for groundwater conservation purposes.

Entities wishing to seek sponsorship from the district of a project intended to promote water conservation, especially through rainwater harvesting or brush control within Jackson County, should submit a application for sponsorship.

Administratively complete applications will be considered by the Board of Directors of district at a meeting.  Awards of Sponsorships, if any, will be approved by the Board of Directors of the district.
